The nominees for the 2024 BET Awards have been announced, with Drake leading with seven nominations and Nicki Minaj following closely with six. The powerhouse performance lineup for the event includes GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, and Victoria Monét.
The “BET Awards” 2024 will be aired live on BET on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 8 PM ET. This year’s nominees showcase a wealth of creative expression and Black excellence across music, television, film, and sports. The BET Voting Academy selected the nominations comprised of esteemed entertainment professionals and influencers in music, media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, and creative arts.
Drake has secured the top spot with seven nominations at the 2024 “BET Awards.” His nominations include ‘Album of the Year’ for “For All The Dogs (Scary Hours Edition),” ‘Best Male R&B/Pop Artist,‘ ‘Best Male Hip Hop Artist,‘ ‘Best Collaboration‘ with Sexyy Red and SZA for “Rich Baby Daddy,” ‘Viewer’s Choice‘ with Sexyy Red and SZA for “Rich Baby Daddy,“ and two nominations for ‘Video of the Year‘ for “First Person Shooter“ with J. Cole and “Rich Baby Daddy“ with Sexyy Red and SZA.
Nicki Minaj has received six nominations, including ‘Album of the Year‘ for Pink Friday 2, ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist,‘ Video of The Year for “Barbie World“ with Ice Spice and Aqua, ‘BET Her‘ with Tasha Cobbs Leonard for “Blessings,“ and twice for ‘Best Collaboration‘ with Lil Uzi Vert for “Everybody“ and “Barbie World“ with Ice Spice and Aqua.
J. Cole, SZA, Sexyy Red, and Victoria Monét each receive five nominations. 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher are all tied with four nominations.
Voting for the 2024 “BET Awards” Viewer’s Choice Award will begin on June 6, 2024, and end on June 30, 2024, at 6:30 PM PT/ 9:30 PM ET.
