IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue through tomorrow morning. 1 to 1 and a half inches of rain has already fallen, with localized areas already recording as much as 2 to 4 inches. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 21.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday morning. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

Turn around, don"t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
