Sheriff’s deputies in Johnson County, Kansas found the body of Cole Brings Plenty, a 27-year-old “1923” actor who had been reported missing.

The deputies were dispatched to the area of 200th and Homestead Lane following a report of an unoccupied vehicle. Upon arrival, they found Brings Plenty’s body in a wooded area away from the vehicle. Investigators and a medical examiner were present at the scene.

Brings Plenty had disappeared on March 31st after allegedly assaulting a woman and leaving the scene of the incident. According to the Lawrence Police Department, officers had responded to reports of a female screaming for help, but the suspect, identified as Brings Plenty, had fled before their arrival. Brings Plenty was last seen driving south on Kansas Highway 59 in a white Ford Explorer.

His uncle, Mo Brings Plenty, an actor on “Yellowstone,” shared a plea to Instagram to help find his missing nephew. He asked people to refrain from making assumptions or speculating in any situation. He also urged everyone to prioritize facts and respect due process, upholding the principles of fairness and justice for all involved.

The Lawrence Police Department has not offered any further details about the alleged domestic violence incident, but they had submitted an affidavit to the district attorney for Brings Plenty’s arrest.

Brings Plenty had acted in several TV series, including “1923,” “Into the Wild Frontier” and “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.”
